SUMMARY
As part of an upgrade to the network, the existing substation at Elderslie was extended to increase capacity and provide additional power to Network Rail for the electrification of the rail network.
PROJECT DETAIL
Earthworks were required in advance of the installation of concrete base supports, service ducting to incorporate additional cabling, drainage, extension of the access road and installation of a new security fence.
