The icon, A-Listed Dunoon Pier was in state of disrepair and had been partially closed to the public assess for a number of years Constructed around 1900 it is considered to be the most complete steam ferry pier surviving in Scotland.
This project comprised repairs and replacement of worn timber piles, bracing, decking and balustrades and repairs replacement and repainting of masonry in addition to drainage & services renewal.
The overall project involves the off-site fabrication and installation of a new linkspan structure at Oban Ferry Terminal for client Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMal).

GL making a return visit to the Sound of Kerrera off Oban, to undertake substantial repairs to the breakwater which suffered collision damage following an altercation with a workboat earlier this year.
