GL are ahead of the curve in their support for Scottish Water’s recently launched campaign to encourage people to use a refillable bottle to ‘top up from the tap’ with over 250 GL-branded reusable water bottles distributed across the sites over the past three weeks.
Scottish Water’s ‘Your Water, Your Life’ campaign, aims to make ‘tap’ the first choice of Scotland’s water drinkers, for the environment, their health and their pocket and is also backed up by
David Attenborough’s recent Blue Ocean II programme which highlighted the concerns over plastic pollution of our oceans.
Drinking lots of water is good for our health especially when it’s sourced through all the GL Water Rehabilitated mains that GL have worked on over the years and GL-branded water bottles are available for anyone working right across the Company.
The bottles themselves are both health and environmentally friendly and are reassuringly marked as “BPA Free”.
Encouraging staff to refill reusable bottles with tap water is a positive action any business can take and one to which GL have wholeheartedly committed.
