Case Studies
Queens Quay Clydebank

The works are prominently located directly below the flight path approach to Glasgow Airport on the site of the old John Browns Shipyard which will become the location of the Clydebank College new campus.

The works comprised stabilisation of the quayside with the installation of  300m of sheet pile wall including support walings, tie rods and a reinforced concrete anchor beam.

The area was reinstated and backfilled with predominantly recycled aggregates.

Piling works were undertaken by the Company’s in-house crawler cranage and piling hammers and skilled piling hands.

The works were designed by URS, with Gardiner & Theobald the project surveyors.
